The newly refurbhised accommodation surrounds a heated swimming area. Stays include a short guided tour of the facility including a short talk on the restoration of Hurricanes and Wooden Aeroplanes. We are situated approximately 40 minutes from Duxford, 1 ¼ hours from Shuttleworth and in the heart of Suffolk which was home to the 8th AirForce which has many of the original airfields, control towers and small museums within a short distance of our facility. Overseas visitors welcome.

Living Rooms: Living/Games/TV Room ~ large lounge/games room area approximately 35' x 18' with patio doors on to the pool area. Large TV/DVD player/Hi-Fi. Billiard cues and balls supplied.
Other: Dining room ~ seating for 8.
Cleaning/towels/linen:
Duvets, pillows, towels and linen are provided. The property is cleaned weekly.
Notes on Accommodation
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets and children under the age of 12. The complex is a no smoking area.

Pool Area ~ the complex surrounds and overlooks a heated swimming pool 30' x 20' at a constant 86 degrees F. Outside furniture and a BBQ within the pool area is supplied. Seperate changing room with shower & toilet.

Private Garden and Tennis Court ~ there is a private garden for guests only with stunning views towards Lavenham. There is a full sized tennis court with table and chairs for a relaxing evening drink whilst watching a game of tennis.

Golf ~ there are two golf courses within 6 miles.

Areas of Interest ~ Moat Farm is situated approximately 2 miles from Lavenham and surrounding the property are some magnificent walks and cycle rides. 6 bicycles are supplied within the price of the let. Within easy reach of Moat Farm are the following areas of interest : The Heritage Coast situated approx. 40 minutes away and includes the unspoilt coastal resorts of Orford, Aldeburgh, Southwold, Walberswick, Woodbridge and Felixstowe. These areas have some fine fresh seafood restaurants such as the Butley Oyster at Orford, the famous fish and chip shop at Aldeburgh, The Crown at Southwold and The Company Shed on Mersey Island.

Lavenham has a number of superb restaurants and traditional pubs plus a magnificent church and historic buildings. Colchester, approx. 16 miles away is one of the oldest towns in England and has a fast train service to London (45 mins). Bury St Edmunds, approx. 15 miles, is the famous Abbey town which once again has interesting historic buildings, The Abbey Gardens, numerous pubs and restaurants and superb shopping facilities. The university town of Cambridge is situated approx. 45 miles away and is within easy reach on the A14 Motorway.

Notes on prices
Please contact owners for weekly rates. Short notice breaks are available if previous bookings have not been allocated and can only be confirmed 2 weeks before the arrival date.
Booking notes
A £250 non-refundable deposit on booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £200 also payable which will be refunded at the end of your stay subject to any damage or breakage's occurring.
